Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 because of her performance as actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu film Mahanati. Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her professional career started in the early 2000s, as a young actor. She returned to the film industry following her study of the field of fashion. Her debut lead performance in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then began to accept projects outside of Malayalam. In 2015, she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu in opposition to one another. But, both films didn't do very well in the cinemas. To accommodate larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she opted to not participate in certain films which she then began working on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She worked in two films that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor on Prabhu's Thodari. However, the film is delayed since 2015, with the possibility of release in September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast opposite Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan the film, which debuted on the 17th of January, 2017. In 2017, she also made appearances in Tamil films Paambhu sattai and Telugu movies Nenu Local.
