Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained prominence after the release of her first album Age Ain't Nothing But A Number in the year 1994. The album, released when she only had fifteen years old it went Gold. This collaboration was strongly influenced by R. Kelly, and put the singer in the spotlight. In 1996, she released her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album featured the top-selling single If Your girl only had known. Aaliyah became a household name for her work as an R&B artist following their release of the sophomore album, One In A Million. Aaliyah appeared alongside legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000) which was an action-packed romance film. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. In 2002 she had the opportunity to appear in the film vampire Queen of the Damned which was inspired by the Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. She had also appeared in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) as well as The Matrix Revolutions (2007). In 1999, 2001 2002 and 2003, she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann is from Indian heritage and was born Connecticut. Mann, her stage name is an abbreviation for Mankad her surname when she married. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name, but she has also used Aarti Magumdar for her stage name. While her initial career was filled with minor films and television performances, she rose to greater prominence in the mid-2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) Commercials for her show have included major brands, such as Volvo. The mother of her daughter is a resident of Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
