Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a native of Canada. She is most well-known to Canadians for her role as a Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda e Voltea to whom you are is enthralled. She is also an accomplished model as well as a dancer. Montreal born, she spent the first few years of her life in Texas. At a very young age, she has learned a range different styles of dancing. When she was 15, she competed in beauty competitions. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina, the Univision pageant series. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 when she played an office receptionist on the Telemundo episode. In 2015, she was in her first feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was recognized by the Teen Choice Awards in both 2018 and 2017 for the best TV actress. Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
